Busselton Golf Club celebrated 100 years in 2007. The course had various locations in Busselton and suffered challenges in regards to developing the course. However since its last move in 1979 the course has been recognised as one of the best rural golf courses in Western Australia. The course’s major events are: Geographe Ladies’ Classic in March (36 hole stroke event attracts 240 competitors); Busselton Pro Am in May, West Coast Open in September (34 hole stroke event attracts 240 amateurs golfers); Leaney Cup in November (36 hole course with men’s and ladies individual events on Day one, followed by a mixed 4 ball on Day two).
